You asked for Python - we are live!
Kai’s Clan all-in-one STEAM toolbox just got bigger, much bigger. Currently, we use Blockly code blocks which are great for Elementary and Middle Schools but we got asked more and more to include Python.

Here at Kai’s Clan, we aim to make things simple. We made using sensors and reading data simple, we teamed up with Tinkercad to make robot avatar designs simple, now we have added Python! Ta Da!
Coding in Python can be scary, well aren’t all pythons scary?
Well with Kai Python, we ease students into Python by offering a code translator between the two languages.
Step 1: Code in blocks to get started

Step 2: Move to Python and see your block code translated into Python text code.

Who knows “Why Python code called Python?
When he began implementing Python, Guido van Rossum was also reading the published scripts from “Monty Python’s Flying Circus”, a BBC comedy series from the 1970s. Van Rossum thought he needed a name that was short, unique, and slightly mysterious, so he decided to call the language Python.
If you want to give it a go, sign in to your account or register here. We have also made a little introduction lesson, so have a go and give us the thumbs up or down.
Don’t forget if you want to discuss more Kai’s Clan features and “how-to” join Kai’s Edu Facebook page.
Thanks to Common Sense!
We always get super excited when teachers use Kai’s Clan for the first time or even when we do webinars and we get teachers or resellers to code our robots in New Zeland from wherever they are based.
The same can be said of when Common Sense gave us their Educators Review, super happy and since then you can see we have added Python.

Online training with Kai.
We value teachers’ time and some days they just don’t have enough hours in the day. Again, Kai wants to make it simple and easy. We have uploaded 4 online lessons about how to get started and What is Kai’s Clan. This will replace Level 1, 2 certificates. Once you have completed the lessons then we will send you both those certificates. However, that doesn’t mean we are not doing live Zoom training anymore, from Level 3 they are all live on Zoom.
Kai’s Clan may feel a bit overload on information, so we wanted to break it down for you and let you do the lessons in your own time. You don’t even have to own a kit to learn more, so jump in and get to know Kai.

For the same reason, we wanted to give our amazing resellers the chance to learn more about Kai’s Clan and the top-selling points. If you haven’t checked out which reseller is in your area please look at the list here.
Our valuable resellers please take some time to get familiar with Kai’s Clan in the 3 online lessons, this will help you understand the product and offer a STEAM solution to all of your districts, schools, and educators.
